Fertility Treatment

The good news is, that due to advances in medicine, there are many options available to help couples reach their goal of conception. Doctors agree that earlier detection of fertility issues can significantly increase your chances of becoming pregnant2.

According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, about 85-90% of fertility problems are treated with conventional therapies, such as drug treatment or surgical repair of reproductive organs4. Your doctor and his/her staff are the best qualified people to help determine your next steps in your fertility journey.

Medication Women with ovulation problems may be put on medication to induce ovulation. Men may take medication to help with sperm production or hormones to treat a hormone imbalance.
Surgery For those having tubal or pelvic disease, procedures can remove scar tissue or ovarian cysts, open blocked tubes or treat endometriosis. Men with blocked vas deferens will often have a minor surgical procedure to clear the blockage.

In addition, there are more advanced procedures that can be done if the medication or surgical options are not right for you. Some of these options include:

Intrauterine inseminations (IUI) – A procedure where sperm are collected and placed into the uterus at the time of ovulation.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) – A procedure involving removing eggs from the ovaries, fertilizing them in a laboratory, and replacing the resulting embryos into the uterus.

Fertell will quickly and easily assess key fertility elements in the comfort of your home, so you and your partner can move forward faster.
