When to See Your Doctor
- Early detection increases your chances
- Take the next step towards conception
The conception process is different for each couple and even each pregnancy. If you’ve been trying and it hasn’t happened yet, there are things that your physician can do to help – from things like evaluating your lifestyle to giving conception tips on when your most fertile time is to diagnostic testing.
You and your partner should see your doctor if the female:
- is under 35 and has been trying for over 12 months
- is over 35 and has been trying for over 6 months
- has had no menstrual discharge or has irregular intervals between periods
For example, you are 33 years old and have been trying for 2 months when you took the Fertell test. You should try to conceive for no more than an additional ten more months before contacting your physician if you are still not pregnant.
If your results on the Fertell tests indicate that you or your partner have results outside of normal ranges, call your physician’s office for further discussion.
